Start Your Own Blog Community

Blogging has been one of the best tools for me and when I do 1:1 training on the web re social media, then blogging remains one of the easiest tools for people to use, understand and also a huge traffic driver. So there you are…I love blogging!

I was interested to see the launch of Blogs.mu which allows you to create your own blogging community – they say

“Using this site you can simply create your own blog hosting service – for any purpose you so wish to use it.

You could use it as a local news site (each reporter or topic could have a blog, strung together by a fancy homepage), a place where you can personally keep several blogs on different topics (and aggregate them together at your homepage), a community discussion site (where everyone had their own soapbox!) or a fanzine for your favorite sports club.”

Do you know I think this could be a really cool idea…I am thinking how this could be used for organisations, how it could be used internally within business, how it could be used by brands….

For someone who wants to create a hub, or a community around an idea then I think this is well worth checking out…does anyone know anyone using it at the moment?
