With more and more people looking to save money, there are an increasing number of startups that focus on helping people save money. BMVclassifieds.com is one such startup.
Ben James, the founder of BMVclassifieds.com, explains his reasoning for creating this money saving resource.
Said James: “Seeing the impact of the current economic instability on everyday families caused me to start thinking of ways to help. I remember when I bought my car, the guy selling it had just been given a new company car. He told me he needed to sell fast. I walked away with the car $4,000 below it’s current market value and I didn’t even have to haggle! So I thought ‘if I can save $4,000 maybe i can help others save amounts like that!’ So I started BMVclassifieds.com.”
While not exactly a breathtaking idea, BMVclassifieds.com is an example of a new generation of startup that is growing from the current economic downturn. It’ll be interesting if we’ll see these sort of startups for the next few years or if it’ll go down as just a short-term fad.
