Startup depression?

Jason Calacanis recently wrote about Startup Depression in an email and on his blog. And I think many of his points are spot on.

I agree that things in the startup world will be drying up for a while, so if you are in the midst of a startup, you need to be focused. Everything you do needs to be analyzed for effectiveness in order to survuve the slump that’s about to happen.

Jason shares his own story of his first startup, and with it shares a ton of ideas and advice to help you with your startup now.

Notice I said ‘now’? That’s becuase the longer you wait, the harder it will be to keep afloat.

CNBC will be airing “The Entrepreneurs” on Wednesday October 1st at 10p ET featuring the founders of Feed Granola Jason Osborn and Jason Wright. They will be discussing the methods which led to their estimated three million dollar a year business. Additional web extras can be found at http://theentrepreneurs.cnbc.com

  2. I wouldn’t say that there is so much of a depression in that entrepreneurs aren’t giving their ideas a go. I just think most are more concerned about, in the current climate, whether they can ride the storm with all of the other challenges that they face early in development.
