Wow, this could open a can of worms for a lot of people who have problems with their homes. I am anxious to see the outcome on their decision on this.

We had a developer here in Florida who used the wrong type of paint on the exterior of her houses, and during the hurricanes these brand new houses wicked up the water like sponges. The houses' interior walls filled with water, then mold. She was sued. I believe it was in the Orlando area.

A lot of buyers of new construction do not want you to bring inspectors in, but it's a good idea to still have a home inspection. Did you know thta you can also purchase extended warranties on home warranties? I just read about it on a blog yesterday.
