State Rep. Leon Drolet, Hero

Good news, Lions fans. Heading to Ford Field to catch some crappy football could possibly become a lot more enjoyable. There is proposed legislation, sponsored by the titular Leon Drolet, which would do two spectacular things. First, alcohol sales would begin at 7 AM instead of the usual noon. Secondly, the Lions would not be able to ban negative signs inside of Ford Field. This means one thing. More drunk people holding Fire Millen signs. Fantastic!

Another glorious tidbit, Drolet’s inspiration was his own brush with Lions security. He was once ejected for calling former coach Marty Morningwheg “pathetic.”
