Stock Market Year In Review
It Sucked.
Duh.

Depression hurts everyone.
Don’t buy stocks if you have liver problems or if you experience any nausea or dizziness when viewing your portfolio. Investors who are nursing, are pregnant or may become pregnant should not buy stocks. Persons thinking of buying stocks should consult with a doctor who will commit you right away to a mental health facility.
Or at least give you a couple of Cymbaltas.

This year has been tragic. So many people have lost a lot of money in the market place. However, let’s not get scared. Now is the time to dump as much money as you can in the market. I by no means claim to be an expert on the stock market. However, a simple financial analysis of large cap stocks shows that many are undervalued. If the financials look strong, and if the qualitative factors look good, then invest. Invest, invest, and invest some more!! :-) Merry Christmas!!
This is what I love about Mark’s writing—simple, elegant, succinct prose.
Live long and write frequently, Mark, we need our fix.
Thanks, Miki. Thanks, too, for the end of the year Leadership Turn round-up…some great reading!
@Aleksandar
It’s going to take me some time to dig up the money in my backyard…
FWIW, I think the stock market has further to fall but that’s what makes horse races and sells Wall Street Journals.
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment.
You’re welcome, Mark. Glad you enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to you keeping me laughing in 2009!
