If you love your Street Figher IV, how’s a little free DLC sound to you? Capcom is releasing Street Fighter IV ‘Championship Mode Expansion Pack’ free of charge for your downloading pleasure. So grab that red pen of yours and mark it down on April 24.

In addition to the free news goodness, Capcom has also dropped more details about what’s coming in this DLC. So for those anxiously awaiting the deets, here you go:
- Tournaments will be seeded randomly based on player skill
- Players who d/c as a means of getting out of a sticky situation will be penalized for their wimpery by getting knocked down in rank
- Those who quit mid-fight will have their cowardice displayed for all to see (and mock).
- Three new features: replay mode, enhanced tournament matching system, two new point systems.
Replay mode is pretty much what it sounds like. You’ll be able to record and share your matches. The enhanced tournament matching system will improve matching for beginners and mid-level players. And the point systems: Championship and Tournament, will be used to measure players’ skill.
Enjoy this one, kids. It’s gonna be fun.
