(FranchisePick.Com) Congratulations to b5 Media’s Grace Ibay at Kids Health Notes who tracked down Jared Fogle (not as easy as it used to be) and his celebrated big pants.
You know Jared – he’s the Super-Un-Size me guy on the Subway restaurant commercials who lost 295 lbs. in one year by eating Subway sandwiches. He then went on to fatten his bank account by becoming the world’s least glamorous, most monotone and most effective spokesmen in fast food history
.
His celebrated size 60 pants have become the most celebrated symbols of obesity since the piano-cases they buried the world’s fattest twins in, as pictured in the Guinness Book of World Record’s.
In 1998, he weighed in at 425 lbs. but went down to 190 lbs by eating a diet of Subway six-inch turkey sub (no oil, mayo or cheese), Baked Lays® potato chips and a diet soft drink, and for dinner, a 12-inch veggie sub. 2008 marks the 10th Anniversary of Jared’s weight loss and the untimely death of his taste buds.

My first draft actually said “Jared the man who made Subway to health and fame.” but then… maybe it’s the other way around.
Can you tell me how long I have to eat Subway sandwiches to lose 100lbs.
