Even before the results from the black box were in, the miracle working pilot of the US Airways Flight 1549 was offered help to keep his finances in the black. Inspired by his amazing water landing The Tax Club wants to help Veteran fighter pilot Chesley B. “Sully” Sullenberger III do his taxes.
With a view of the Hudson River from their headquarters in the Empire State Building, senior management at The Tax Club watched as Sullenberg and his crew managed to get all the passengers off of the plane safely. Now the company is offering Sullenberger free tax preparation services for life. The Tax Club advises small businesses with an ‘industry first’ communication model that includes daily contact between clients and their assigned accounting/advisory staff.
Michael Savage made the generous offer as a small token of appreciation. In his words:
“We just wanted to do something, and being in the tax business, offering him our services just made sense. A disaster had safely been avoided and in a time when trust is low and negativity seems to dominate our lives, this miracle needs to be heralded.”
Sullenberg has indicated he’d just as soon go back to his quiet life the way it was before last week. But it’s clear he’ll be heralded as a hero for some time to come. My advice: take the tax help!
But what about the crew? If The Tax Club wants to be really generous, they’d include them in the deal!
