SUNDAYS ARE FOR DE-STRESSING
Bloggers from the b5media Business & Entertainment Channels just went through a 24-hour-blogging-every-hour marathon in support of ACCION, the MicroFinance Institution of MicroFinance Institutions (http://www.b5media.com/b5media-blogs-for-a-cause).
That is a lot of stress and a great lack of sleep.

Researchers at Seoul National University in South Korea conducted an experiment on the effect of the scent of freshly roasted & ground coffee beans. Using rats in the experiment (I guess to make the results of the experiment more applicable to people in the rat race eking out a living in the face of high oil & food prices), the researchers found out that parts of the brain involved in releasing antioxidants (which help in protecting brain cells against damage from stress & lack of sleep) were stimulated by the aroma of freshly roasted & ground coffee beans (from the column of Massie Santos Ballon, Discover, in the 21 June issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer).
So . . . smell your coffee, before you drink it.
