Super Famicom/PlayStation Prototype?

As some of you may know, back in the 90s Sony and Nintendo were working together to create a CD-based Nintendo console, but as we all know, it wasn’t meant to be.
Game-rave got a hold of a picture of what could very well be a prototype of the PlayStation/Super Famicom unit. Is it real? Not sure. They say it is, but one can’t be too certain about these things.
