Slacking Sumo Style

A few months back I reviewed what I thought was the coolest chair I’d ever sat in, a tangerine Sumo chair. It was wonderful, and any kids that come over to my house to play love it. It’s also still super fun for me to sit in when I’m relaxing while playing on my new Nintendo Wii.

About a month ago, I got the Sumo Gigantor Chair to review for this blog, and I’m delighted to share this wonderful chair with you. The folks at Sumo promise this is the most comfortable chair ever, and I would have to agree: it’s comfortable beyond belief. I was sent a “review copy” of a chair, much better than a hard cover book, though I love reading books in this new chair.

The Sumo Gigantor Chair is truly the most awesome addition to my slacker home. It is definitely a gigantor, at 86 x 60 x 40, and covered in a oh so comfortable micro suede in a beautiful khaki color that fits perfectly with the decor of my house.

Setting this up took a little bit of time and effort as it came in a HUGE black bag that I had to tear apart. It took me 2 weeks to find a friend to help me rip it apart. Couple that with a wicked sinus infection, and you’re talking a month of delay from delivery to slacker style! After I ripped it out of the bag, broke the foam apart, waited a day, then jammed all the foam back into the plush cover, wait another day, then kicked back and relax in my new comfy chair.

Let me tell you, the Sumo Gigantor Chair is going to be a fixture in my home for many years to come! Thanks Sumo!

If you’re looking for a new piece of furniture to relax in after a long, hard day at work, I can’t recommend this chair enough! Definitely will help me with my life/work balance!
