Superbowl Ads

There appear to be 2 ways to re-watch the Superbowl ads. The first is through CBS, which just gives you all the ads again with no added value.

The second is through YouTube, which let’s you rank all 49 in your order of choice, with the ‘winner’ getting a spot on the front page.

I’ve already wrote about the Snickers one; the GoDaddy was pretty funny, especially with the in-joke of having Kevin Rose appear. Nothing else really caught my eye individually but 2 series did work (that means I can remember them). The first was Bud, which had some really cute ones as well as a happy slappy one, which made me think od the Tango ad that got pulled as it ‘encouraged’ kids to go round and hit people in the face! The Career Builder series were just weird, in a funny weird way. Put a new twist on the Office Olympics.

Finally, the Doritos ad was labelled as ‘user generated’ and then had a special call out as the ‘first’ ad of its type on the show. That’s what you get instead of payment.
