Dwight Howard, who has grown from young protege to a basketball playing Superman, proved that his Orlando Magic are an elite team on Friday. Hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers, Superman and the Magic destroyed LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

After getting off to a 55-38 halftime lead, the Magic cruised to a 116-87 victory. With the win, Orlando improved to 56-19. The loss knocked the Cavs down to 61-15.

In only 27 minutes of action, Howard had 20 points, 11 rebounds and three blocked shots. LeBron, on the other hand, had 26 points, nine rebounds and five assists, however LeBron missed 13 of his 20 field goal attempts.

The difference in this game was the supporting cast for the two superstars. Next to LeBron, Mo Williams and Zydrunas Ilgauskas led the team in scoring with ten points. Next to Howard, Rashard Lewis, Hedo Turkoglu, Courtney Lee, Rafer Alston, Tony Battie and Anthony Johnson each finished in double-figures.

While the Cavs have a firm lock on the top seed in the Eastern Conference, the Magic are in a dog fight with the Boston Celtics for the second seed.
