SuperToolTips in Office 12

SuperToolTips

We’re all familiar with Tooltips, those small yellow boxes that appear on the screen with just the information we need in the context. Now, stand by for Super Tooltips in Office 12.

These are basically similar to common or garden Tooltips, but larger. They are meant to soften the impact of the new user interface in which standard toolbars have been replaced with task-oriented “Ribbons” that include features relevant to the task in hand.

Mindful of veiled mutterings about the length of the learning curve for the new Office suite, Microsoft has given us Super Tooltips (see image).
