Survival at its finest: Lost In Blue – Shipwrecked!
Have you ever wondered what it’d be like to be lost at sea on a boat and the boat gets ripped apart and you get thrown on a deserted island with nothing more than the clothes on your back and your pet monkey/dog? Well, my friends, your day of wondering what that’s like is over. Why? Because of a new game brought to us by Konami for the Nintendo Wii: Lost In Blue: Shipwrecked!
In Lost In Blue: Shipwrecked!, you get to play a boy or a girl that gets lost at sea and wakes up on a deserted island in which you have to build fires, shelters and do anything you can do to survive. The player gets to use the Wii Remote to do minial tasks that we find boring to do in our day to day lives, but thrive to do in game based simulations. What’s more fun than chopping wood? Pretending you’re chopping wood using the Wii Remote and Nunchuck! YES!
Here are some of the game’s features which I’m sure you will enjoy:
- The first console version of the series greatly upgrades the visual quality and depth of the game, immersing the player in a survival adventure like never before
- Vibrant 3D graphics paint the island environment, weather systems, and various items as more life-like than ever
- Full use of Wii-mote and Nunchuk controls allow you to experience realistic movements with a variety of mini-games including fishing, carpentry, fire-making and more
- An island tutorial and a greater focus on exploration enhances the accessibility and fun factor for new players
- Dependable pets improve item gathering and provide entertainment by playing music or dancing with you
- Recruit a friend for around 40 mini-games, including new, cooperative games – the better you play, the bigger your reward
The game just came out on Tuesday, September 23rd and can be found for around $30 a pop.
