Swapping Business Skills

Have you ever thought of swapping your business skills with another business? Bartering for business services and products can be a great way to save money for your small business.
- If you are an accountant you can trade your expertise for a professional web page.
- If you are a web designer you can trade your knowledge for a marketing campaign.
- If you are a marketing expert you can trade your skills for the repair of the air conditioner in your office.

The possibilities are endless. In the current economy many businesses are struggling with cash flow and would be glad to trade services with you. They may not have the cash to purchase the services you offer, but they might be willing to trade their skills. In the end both of you will benefit.
You don’t have to limit your bartering to skills, you can also trade goods, or goods for services. As long as both parties are benefiting it’s a win, win situation for your small business.
There are groups and organizations you can join to find other businesses who are interested in bartering. It can be a great way to reduce cost, and save money in this difficult economy. Check around to see if there is a local business bartering group in your area, or get together with other businesses to start one.
Bartering has been around since the beginning of time, and it will continue be around for a long time in the future.
