Found out about this application while reading Walt Mossberg’s column over at the Wall Street Journal. In today’s day and age it’s not uncommon to see people owning/using more than one computer. You’ve got one for work, a personal one plus a computer for the whole family to use. With this setup it’s also common that you want to work on files on multiple computers. Keeping everything in sync isn’t easy, especially if you have computers on different operating systems.
Sugar Sync seems to be a good solution. You can sync files on a Windows or Mac computer. Syncing to phones are available too. The other great thing about this app/service is it also backs up your files on their servers. Your files are secured and encrypted to thwart of unauthorized access.
You can access your files via web browser. So in case you forgot your computer and need to access a file, just go to the web site and you can access your files.
Sugar Sync offers a free 45 day trial, after which you can choose a subscription plan that’s right for you.
