relax1.jpgAs an small business owner, a manager or a work-from-homer, are you familiar with the term “vacation”? I know, I know. I’m sure it’s a foreign word to you too. But, it is very important that we take the time to rejuvenate ourselves. Having been a home-based freelancer for over 10 years, I have had to learn my share of tips and strategies to pull myself away from my desk at a decent hour, shut the computer off (not in snooze or standby mode) and WALK AWAY FROM THE OFFICE. This has to be a conscious and disciplined effort to do. I wrote a few tips here about some things that you can try to use to get more R&R into your business life. Whatever business you’re in, whatever times of day that you work, whereever you work and whatever you do, remember the main thing that’s going to keep those creative juices flowing and spark the energy you need to make it through each day, you must get proper rest.

What do you do to relax?
