Take the train to the bus to the subway

Train

I actually love public transit, which may put me in the minority. One problem with public transit, though, is figuring out how to get from point A to point B, particularly when point A is on one transit system or mode and point B on another. Fortunately, nowadays many systems have planners which allow you to plan a trip across different modes of transportation. Now, Google is trying to provide single-source lookup through its transit site. Right now, the list of participating transit agencies is somewhat limited, but hopefully that will change it over time.
