Tech and Woo Woo Weirdness This Morning

I spent most of Saturday and Sunday in a silent retreat. Lots of meditating, and almost no talking. And I mean almost no talking at all.

Absolutely delightful to find I can get along for a day or two without words. Of course there was a torrent of words in my head most of the time, but there were moments when even there language slowed for a bit.

Just before I turned off my computer Friday night in prep for the weekend, I dropped my marble mouse. Rolling the pointer with the large ball seems to help keep my carpel tunnel at bay. I noticed the right click was hinky but figured it would sort itself out when I restarted the compute Monday morning.

Hah! Not even close. Plus, I have two other problems… my calendar, which opened well somehow got trashed and so did several months of email… from mid-November through March 20. And no, I didn’t unplug the mouse while the computer was on. And no I didn’t plug in the new one when the computer was on.

Who knows – sigh
