Tech Writing / Blog Usability

ideabulb.jpgTom Johnson blogs about technical writing at I’d Rather Be Writing. It’s been years since I’ve done any tech writing but it’s a viable source of freelance writing income.

Tom covers a wide variety of subjects. One I liked is his post on Twenty Usability Tips for Your Blog. Much of it is simple common sense, which is always good to review. Other tips give you insight into how readers use blogs and some of it gives clues about how folks read on screen.

Take a look, and if you’re a tech writer or want to be, bookmark this one.

Write well and often,
