Technorati Redesign

Technorati is a site which I used to use a lot, especially in relation to networking. When I first started using social media, I found it a great place to find blogs, to find people of similar thinking, values etc

Technorati over recent years has reduced in importance with me although I do still use it as the major source for blog searches. This week Technorati relaunched or at least redesigned their site. In my opinion the redesign has made it look more like any other general tech site, rather than a search engine which in many ways I felt it was….

However after saying that I do like the new style Top 100 lists and also the lists within the subcategories. Finding new blogs I believe is much easier….though I would still like to see an easier way to find that smaller gem rather than the big name blogs. Not that there is an easy solution to the problem.

ati…is this now becoming a channel expert on blogging rather than merely a search tool? Worth checking out if you haven’t been back recently…
