TED talks online!
TED stands for Technology Entertainment Design, and it’s an annual conference that’s held in Monterey, California each year. It’s pretty exclusive, and allows only 1,000 people to attend each year. Generally speaking, in order to attend, someone who’s already been must recommend you. I’ve always been fascinated by the lineup of speakers at the conference and have often daydreamed about attending.
Now the TED organizers have put several of the best talks online in both audio and video formats. Excellent! And they’ve got several ways to subscribe to new content (as if I needed another RSS feed).
These are really great. I’d heard about Al Gore’s speech at TED, and wished I could’ve seen it…now I can!
