Maria Sharapova likes to keep busy. She models, she does some commercials, not to mention she plays a bit of tennis on the side to the tune of being ranked fifth in the world. Minor details, Sherlock.

Sharapova is the world’s highest-paid female athlete, and she’s still taking on new hats. The tennis star is aiming to add television producer to her list of accomplishments with a sport-focused show on the CW. Tennis is the sport, of course, what else?

With a recent shoulder injury, Sharapova may have a bit of time to lend to her new project. She has paired up with writer Jacob Epstein for her unnamed show. It should be interesting.

At the very least, I’m glad she’s trying to help produce the show instead of act in the show, and that’s really all I have to say about that.
