Finally, the elusive and much awaited 42nd ton came. At Sydney Cricket Ground. Where it was most needed. Does anyone doubt Tendulkar’s match-winning ability now?

But, the credit for this glory also must go to Gambhir, who selflessly sacrificed his wicket to save Tendulkar.

Hope gambir does not do a run out again… too important for the team. As for Tendlya, it’s become a habit to respond strongly to criticism… good for us

So, Pan, you’ve turned into an Oz fan? After we beat, uh, Oz?

  4. they need all the support in this difficult times when even their brain has started to freeze…

Gambhir was at fault for his run out, can’t blame Sachin.

Great effort by India to win the finals 2-0. Superb knocks by Sachin when it mattered. The two innings have gone a long way in addressing his previously poor ODI record against Aus in Aus.

P.S. Sachin is now also ranked number 1 in the ICC ODI Player Rankings.
