Terminate Program in Windows Vista

July 14, 2009 by Milo Riano

It is annoying when programs in Windows Vista are not responding and we need to close them up. However; not all programs allow users to close them up via their “x” button on the window. To be able to close the application, we can do that through the task manager.

Below are the steps:

1. Press on Control, Shift, and Esc all at the same time

2. Find the application you need to close

3. Right-click on the application

4. Click on the “End Process” at the menu

5. Close Task Manager

I tried your method and it didn’t work. I have always used Control, Alt and Delete keys to call up the Task Manager.
