“Terminator: Salvation” Video Game Trailer

I am really looking forward to the Termination: Salvation movie but I never even thought about the prospect of playing the game until now. I guess I was so wrapped up in wanting to see how the storyline
from the film was going to develop and whether Christian Bale (in the role of John Connor) was deserving of all the hype that I didn’t even think about the possibility of a video game.
I was over on Game Trailers and I noticed that they had an HD trailer and I had to check it out. To be honest, I was not overly impressed with the graphics. For a movie as big as this one, I was expecting a much sleeker look and I was disappointed. Further ruining the game is the fact that Christian Bale refused to lend his voice or likeness so the main character looks nothing like what appears in the movie. It’s lame but what are developers supposed to do? Shelf the project?
Anyway, for a game based on a movie, it doesn’t look terrible but in terms of basic third-person shooter action games, it doesn’t look great. It will be available on May 19, 2009 for PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, iPhone OS. Check out the trailer:
