If Jessica Simpson aims to be the softer side of the Dallas Cowboys, then she’ll have to get past receiver Terrell Owens first.
The drama-prone T.O. turned on the waterworks following the Cowboys’ 21-17 playoff loss to the New York Giants.
(As an aside, we’re already tired of hearing how “the other Manning” is headed to a division championship game. Does that mean Eli will start showing up in umpteen commercials, too?)
T.O.’s verklempt moment came in defense of QB Tony Romo, whose relationship with Jessica Simpson has been a scapegoat for No. 9’s lackluster play in recent games. (Including by T.O. himself, once upon a time). The vacation mentioned here (40s) is the Los Cabos trip Romo and Simpson took prior to the playoffs.
At least Jessica Simpson can’t be blamed for the #1 seed’s season-ender. She didn’t attend the game . . . unless you count all those Jessica masks and that impersonator who showed up . . .
