Terry Bradshaw wants to Pay the Fan

Terry Bradshaw is passing a Fantasy Football Site to you!

We all remember Terry Bradshaw as an awesome Pittsburgh Steeler quarterback and currently as a really funny fact filled NFL TV announcer.

Now Terry is on the cover photo of a Fantasy Football site called Pay the Fan.

But first, your intrepid author needs to back up and explain why we are even looking at this site.

Last year, the Squibster had two teams, the Spartans and the Naruto, in two different leagues. One team was in an ESPN league and the other was in a Yahoo league. Now your intrepid author has played Fantasy Football much time before and actually has one trophy for a regular season championship. (The playoffs did not go so well.)

Total Points League

Anyway, my total points league had a guy that claimed to have won almost every league he had been in. We looked him up. Son of a gun, he had a whole page of trophies. Don’t know about you or him, but the Squibster has a life outside of football. This guy was sure to win and after 3 weeks it was obvious. The fun was gone.

Head to head league

My head to head league made a bigger mistake, they had too many teams and too big of rosters. Nobody wanted to trade, so no worthwhile players were available and isn’t that half the fun? Nothing better than being down in the standings, but swapping players and going to the waiver wire to put together a team and knock off one of the best teams. That was not going to happen. The fun was gone.

Pay the Fan, a new team every week

That brings up the PayTheFan. It is different. You set your lineup every week. You don’t have to wait for that week to pick your players, but they can be different players every week. Now there is the rub, you can’t use a player or defensive team more than twice.

PayTheFan gives out weekly 10,000 dollar prizes and a season prize of 250,000 dollars. Yeah, you only have to get lucky one week to make 10,000 dollars. Of course, something this good is not free. You can get all the details at the site.

My team this week has J.T O’Sullivan at quarterback, because the 49ers play my Lions.
You see, there is the fun, J.T. has a chance to rack up some big time points and probably won’t ever be my quarterback again this season. In fact, he can only play for me one more time.

Won’t tell you my other players, but plan to save up the big stars and maybe use them all in one week. What do you think?
