Tetrisize Your Home…
…If you have one…
Now this is what I call a storage solution! Brave Space Design have taken the iconic shapes from Tetris, and have created a flat-pack furniture storage system that would look great in any gamer’s place of retro worship…

A set of these all up in your hizzouse would surely make you the envy of your retro gaming brethren, but at $120 per block you’d better be prepared to wait a while to build up your wall…
I wonder if your house disappears if you reach the ceiling, and before you and all your pretty little belongings are sucked into the void of the eternal game over the last thing you’ll hear will be that horrible “wheaeaeaea” noise…
What a nice thought…
Check it, yeah? – Via Firewheel

ooohhhhh…I am coveting those! Every trip to Bald Man’s parents’ ensures me at least one (ill-thought through) Tetris all-night marathon. Of course, at that price for that furniture, maybe I can just charm his dad into just making me some. His folks are pretty cool, after all. They’re the ones who introduced me to Sonic….
Sweet but I wonder can you mess up these blocks just like you can in the game? I know I would.
HAHAHA! You mean you put them in the wrong place and end up with a gaping hole in the middle of them? Or you rotate one of them wrongly and all your plans get wasted?
I wish I’d used that idea in the article itself!!!
And Kerri: If the Bald Man’s parents do end up making some, be sure to take some photos so I can feature them on here! They shouldn’t be too hard to make, right?
Photos absolutely, if I can get him to do it. I’m thinking, instead of the colors, just different types of wood, to get an inlay effect going. Hmmmm…I’ll have to start the charming soon. :)
“HAHAHA! You mean you put them in the wrong place and end up with a gaping hole in the middle of them? Or you rotate one of them wrongly and all your plans get wasted?”
Exactly!! I’m not good at Tetris. Correction, I stink at puzzle games (Columns, Puzzle Fighter, you name it.) I’ll have to get expert to put these things together for me.
Kerri, you’re very lucky to know those people.
Yes,I am. Especially since I haven no spacial capabilities on my own. (Seriously. Which is why my hubby sits next to me while I play Tetris and says, “Why didn’t you put that piece there? Did you know you could’ve cleared that whole area if you’d just put this piece there?” Which is when I say, “You can go away now.”)
