That’s Turrible – Charles Barkley to Jail

Charles Barkley, the curvaceous, vivacious and sensationalist employed by Turner Sports, is headed to jail. Following the Barkley DUI arrest a few months back, many thought he’d get a slap on the wrist.

Many thought wrong, Barkley will have to do ten days of hard time. His sentence can be reduced all the way down to five days if he completes an alcohol related course.

Barkley is back to being behind the desk at TNT. And thank the basketball gods because TNT was suffering without him. TNT without Barkley is like the Cavs without LeBron. If it happens, you hide the women and children and pray until it’s over.

The worst part is that Kenny Smith goes from the lovable sidekick to a guy who is supposed to carry the show. That just doesn’t happen. Smith’s feet just aren’t big enough to fill Barkley’s shoe.

Let’s hope that the jail gives Sir Charles a comfortable jumpsuit, a plush cell and a soap on a rope.
