The 12 Minute Energy Workout

If your short on time and or energy, you can blast through and gain a positive momentum with a 12 minute, super-high intensity workout. You won’t need any weights.

First, do as many situps as you can at a fast pace. Once you begin to slow down significantly, turn over and rep out as many pushups as you can. After pushups, go to high knee running and try keeping that up for a minute while you count to 60 to keep time.

Rest 30 seconds.

Get in push up position and now do as many knee surges as you can (I don’t know how to better describe this but it’s where you’re driving your knee forward towards your chest). Next, lay flat on your back and with your arms to your side, rise your legs up and then go back down. Keep this at a controlled, medium pace. Do this as many times as you can until you start shaking.

Rest 30 seconds.

Get back into pushup position, but this time do as many triangle pushups (for triceps) as you can. If you can’t do full triangle pushups, get on your knees but make sure to make your triceps burn. Now, go for air punches. Punch the air continuously for a minute straight with good straight punches and as fast as you can. Afterwards, immediately get back on the ground and do as many pushups as you can.

Finish with as many quick jumps as you can do. Quick jumps will just be jumping quickly off the ground with your knees straight and then jumping right back up. You don’t need to jump high into the air.

Now you’re pumped!
