EagleBank Bowl Result:
Wake Forest 29, Navy 19
Wake Forest wide receiver Devon Brown (3) celebrates with wide receiver D.J. Boldin (4) after catching a pass for a 2 point conversion in the 4th quarter against the Naval Academy Midshipmen.
EagleBank Bowl Summary: Navy jumped on the board first, but when Wake Forest finally got going, we saw a real game. What a great way to start the college bowl system. With less than a minute left on the clock, Rich Belton ran it in for a TD, giving Wake Forest a 10-point lead and, essentially, ended the game. This school’s seniors are now officially the winningest class in Wake Forest history.
Overall Records: Wake Forest 8-5, Navy 8-5
