The Buckwheat Boyz Are Back In Town

The Buckwheat Boyz are making a career from rapping about things everyone loves. First, there was the Internet hit It’s Peanut Butter Jelly Time.

Now, the Boyz are back in town bringing their special brand of fun to a new spot for Baskin Robbins ice cream with a catchy little number called Ice Cream and Cake.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say this song is destined to be the next big wedding reception hit. It combines the best features of the Electric Slide with a natural tie-in to the cake-cutting ceremony.

But, what’s really sweet is you can win $10,000 plus $1,000 worth of ice cream cake. All you have to do is go to the Baskin Robbins contest site and upload a video of you and your friends doing the Ice Cream and Cake dance.

Sure, 10 grand would be nice, but we all know $1,000 worth of ice cream cake is the real prize.

Baskin Robbins is sprinkling the wealth around with second and third place prizes of $5000/$500 ice cream cake and $1000/$100 ice cream cake, respectively.

Be forewarned, though. Competition is intense. People are trotting out their dogs and their babies in an effort to scoop up the top prize.

Chances are your entry will need to be either off-the-charts cute or extraordinarily original to win.

Or I guess you could go for super sexy. You probably won’t win a prize from the family-oriented Baskin Robbins, but you could become a different kind of Internet sensation.
