The Common Craft Show’s RSS in Plain English

One of the objectives of A Feed Is Born is to spread the use of RSS feeds. And in this there are several mediums that are quite effective in spreading the “Good Word” on RSS and webfeeds. And from time to time we come across materials that seem to be quite effective in educating and entertaining. Plus it gives you enough time to enjoy a cup of coffee or enjoy soda while the video is playing. And here is probably one of the most effective videos about RSS.

Although a few months old this video by Lee, titled as RSS in Plain English, has not lost its bite. It is witty and informative a good tool for all of us RSS Evangelists. The video was first uploaded to YouTube on April 23, 2007. It has been viewed 26,579 times. And scored four stars out of 75 ratings. The video can be found on the The Common Craft Show and it is described on its channel page as, ” an attempt at making sense in under 5 minutes. We call our format “paperworks” and think lofi is the new hifi.”

Here is the original info posted on YouTube.

We made this video for our friends (and yours) that haven’t yet felt the power of our friend the RSS reader. We want to convert people and if you know someone who would love RSS and hasn’t yet tried it, point them here for 3.5 minutes
