The Coolness of A Blogger

You wake up at 6 am and sit in front of the computer all day. You get home from work around 6 pm and sit in front of the computer all evening. You live in your parents basement or live in an apartment you can’t afford. Where ever you are or when you start blogging, there are moments that put a smile on your face. Either the blogging you’ve been doing has gotten you a job or you find out someone “cooler” is doing it too.

This brings us to Tiger Woods. Yes that Tiger Woods. He’s sidelined from action in the PGA tour until sometime in ‘09 and what might he be doing to distract him from not being able to win more this year? Blogging. Tiger has started a blog on PGATour.com.

“Winning the U.S. Open for my 14th major title was an amazing accomplishment. I’d have to say it was the biggest win of my pro career. Some people have mentioned the 1997 Masters, but for me as a player, the U.S. Open was more difficult. I still don’t know how I did it. Why did I do it? Am I that stubborn?
The three reasons I played were:
• It was Torrey Pines, a place where I grew up playing and have had a lot of success.
• I was comfortable on the course and knew the greens
• I knew it was going to be my last event of the year.” (Tiger Blog)

He’s going to write on his blog when he can. Will soon be adding Tiger Woods to my RSS feed.
