It just about sums up this administration and it’s misguided sense of principals and priorities.
Yeah, but they duck a mean shoe, don't they?

It's interesting timing that the EEOC ruling coincides with the PA AG agreement of $700K. I'm assuming refunds come before EEOC awards in the bankruptcy court. See:
http://www.franchisepick.com/pure-weight-loss-members-to-receive-700000-in-refunds/

It's also interesting that the EEOC suit predates the split of the two companies, yet there's no talk of the current LA Weight Loss being held liable. Did they lop off half the company (the Katz/franchise portion) in the event they lost this suit?

Pretty slick lawyering, if so. It would be interesting to see a timeline of all these events. Maybe in my spare time...

I think you said it all Sean! Whichever is true...the EEOC racking up brownie points, or...the fact that going to trial was the proverbial "nail in the coffin for Pure...it's a shallow victory that sort of misses the point of what went on at LA/Pure for nearly two decades.

Vahan Karian and Harold Katz have both perpetrated fraud, deception and theft on their loyal, and unsuspecting customers. So for the government to aggressively pursue the secondary issue of equal employment is laughable. It just about sums up this administration and it's misguided sense of principals and priorities.
