The Elements of Branding Defined

Kolbrener, Inc. has a great interactive tool on their website that I had to share with Brandcurve readers.  It’s a table of branding elements based on the periodic table of elements, and it provides definitions for a number of branding and marketing terms in six categories:

  1. Advertising
  2. Direct
  3. Branding
  4. Marketing Communications
  5. M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions)
  6. Miscellaneous

Kolbrener, Inc. is a branding and marketing company with offices in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Reston, Virginia and New York City.  They have an interesting website overall, but I just love their table of branding elements.  It’s a clever way to visually present many of the “parts” of marketing and branding.

What do you think?  Are there any definitions missing from Kolbrener’s table of branding elements?
