The Give and Take of Networking

When you ask to feature someone on your blog, unless you have amazing traffic stats, don’t make it sound like you’re doing them a favor by giving them exposure.

If only four people read your blog you are asking them for a favor and should be polite and make it easy for them to help you. Sure, it’s mutually beneficial, but know which side the benefit is really falling on.
