The Hangover

Minnesota 3 – Oakland 8:  Oakland sweeps the Twins 3-0 to advance to the ALCS.  Great…now Billy Beane will be hailed even more than he already is.

Yankees 0 – Detroit 6:  If the Yankees lose this series, Steinbrenner’s head may actually explode.

#8 Louisville 44 – Middle Tennessee 17:  The Cardinals beat the Raiders…that would happen in the NFL too.

And on a sad note, Buck O’Neil, legendary Negro league ambassador, passed away last night at the age of 94.  What this man did for baseball and the Negro leagues should put him in the Hall of Fame if anybody has a sense of justice.
