The Hardy Boys: The Hidden Theft
The Adventure Company is just turning out those adventure games, aren’t they? They alone are probably the company keeping the adventure game genre afloat and for that, I could not be happier. Right now, they’re pimping out a new adventure game featuring two teenaged brothers that are out there to solve mysteries. Sound familiar? Well, it should. Yes, my friends. It’s the Hardy Boys in their very own adventure game called The Hardy Boys: The Hidden Theft.
The Hardy Boys have to be an adventure game developer’s dream!
Not only are these Hardy Boys cool and updated with their fancy haircuts and their awesome shoes, but they also have the voices of teeny bop super stars Jesse McCartney and Cody Linley. I don’t know really what those two kids do, but teenage girls seem to love them.
The game doesn’t sound half bad either. If you’re into games where boys solve mysteries. Check out the story:
In The Hardy Boys: The Hidden Theft, the vault of the Spencer Mansion is robbed, and the Bayport Police call on the Hardy Boys to help tie up some loose ends, but they soon find themselves in the middle of a major criminal investigation that takes them on an adventure all over Bayport, and even into New York City. But the pieces don’t add up, and Frank and Joe find themselves embroiled in a drama of sinister proportions. Is the recent theft linked to something from the past? Can Frank and Joe find and decipher the clues in time to prevent another crime from happening?
And there’s even a trailer:
The game will be hitting the PC and the Wii on October 3rd.
