The Importance of Optimism

Optimistic Sun

This is an incredibly short post, but I feel it necessary to express how much I absolutely love optimism.  I think optimism is what drives people to stay on target.  The whole “cruel, harsh world” is an outdated theme and can justly be replaced by a “big, open environment” perspective.  You may say this is an obvious point, but let’s look at it like we’re creating our business.  “Fighting your way to the top” isn’t a bad way to go, but I prefer to emphasize the part where you observe opportunities and maneuver into positions.

People aren’t out to destroy your idea.  They are out to compete and prove you are competitive.  If you become pessimistic, you are no longer competing for your success.  If you become pessimistic, your ideas will never become complete.
