O2 UsageFT.com is reporting in on iPhone sales and the impact of the iPhone on mobile data usage. Matthew Key, the incoming chief executive of O2 Europe, reports that 200,000 iPhones should be sold in the UK by early January. Other research firms say as many as 400,000 iPhones should be possible, on the other hand.

The article later states 60% of iPhone users on O2 are sending or recieving more then 25MB a month, the same as 7,500 emails. Only 1.8% of O2’s other customers are using more then 25MB a month. The numbers are significant because it could deeply help mobile advertising.

I found myself to be using at least over 100MB a month. In the entire time I have owned my iPhone, I have used approximately 700MB. How much data do you use?
