The Living Will. Do You Think About THE END?

Most men don’t like to talk about the possibility of their death or their spouses death. You never really know when your time is up. Sometimes things happen that may leave you in a living state where you can not make decisions for yourself. A living will or health care directive is something that most people don;t have to worry about until their later years in life. However, it is a great idea to have one drawn up just in case, right?
You may have an accident that may leave you in a vegetative state or terminal condition. You may or may not want your life prolonged with a feeding tube or other forms of life support. This is where the Living Will or Advanced Heath Care Directives come in. You may decide that you want one prepared or you may not want to think about such an occasion. You may have parents that you would never want to lose, but may need to think about having one drawn up. Either way, it’s something to seriously think about. You can read up more about what exactly a living will is at Wikipedia. After reading through that (Or before) it may be of interest to take this short Survey from Senior Support. It only takes a few minutes and may open your mind to the options of a living will.

Thanks for helping spread the word about living wills and the survey Scott.
I remember Terri Schiavo and that whole fiasco. Getting your legal affairs in order will help relieve your family from having to do it and figure out what you wanted.
This is something we didn’t think of since my husband got ill. I will mention it to him as I think it’s a very good idea for both of us to have living wills.
