Between my smart phone, del.icio.us, scraps of paper, Google Reader shared items, and a stack of small index cards, I make notes for way more blog posts every month than I actually write.

If I haven’t turned one of those into a post by the end of the month, I’m probably never going to. Here are links to posts that sparked a thought, but didn’t make it into a post of my own this month:

Managing Perception in Decline – Jim Horton ponders how public relations can help the music industry, when the industry is afraid to face the inevitable.

Citizen Journalist, PR Guy. What’s in a Name? – Shel Israel prefers being called a "markets guy", because public relations, is increasingly about "taking messages from clients and injecting them into the markets, often via the media."

Purple Cow Redux – Seth Godin describes a novel technique he used to promote his book Purple Cow.
