The Perfect Shave – Is It Possible?

Do men obsess over getting the perfect shave as much as the ads on television depict? A nice close shave is a good thing and the shaving product industry is working overtime, so it seems, to be sure you get that perfect shave.
Gillette, makers of several shaving products, has sent me some products for my husband to try. He’s been a razor shaver since he began shaving (no electric here!) and has tried several types. For the longest time, he used the disposable types but last year, on the recommendation of my friend’s husband, I bought my husband the Gillette Fusion. It wasn’t cheap, but our friend wasn’t kidding – it did provide a good shave at a decent price overall.
The new campaign will have my husband using one product on one side and one on the other. After a week, we’ll report the difference – if any.
So, the question is: what do you use to shave your face and what do you like about it?

My husband uses disposable razors and then complains that his face hurts. I keep telling him to buy better ones, but he’d rather save money. Go figure.
