The “Price” Is Right For The Devil Rays

The Tampa Bay Devil Rays did the improbable. They finished last just a season ago and now they are going to play in the World Series.
Just
when the Boston Red Sox seemed to be getting their Swagger back, along comes a rookie with a fast ball that sucked the life right out of the remaining Soxsluggers in the 9th inning, down by only two measly runs.
His name? David Price. His experience? 15 innings. The result? Strike outs galore.
Drafted as the number one pick in 2007, Price was called upon to seal the deal for the Rays. And seal it, he did.
Whoever thought Joe Maddon was crazy (both for shaving his head into a mohawk AND for playing Price in that situation) quickly changed their minds as soon as the bag was tagged at second base by Akinori Iwamura for the third and final out.
Can this young team pull off the improbable yet again and beat the Philadelphia Phillies? I’d certainly put my money on them.
