The Rich Rodriguez Situation is Getting Out of Control

January 8, 2008 by Allison Boyer

Love him or hate him, the Coach Rich Rodriguez situation is getting out of control. Yes, I know that everyone is upset about his moving to Michigan. But it’s football, people. He doesn’t deserved to be harassed.

Since moving, his teen son has received death threats and his 12-year-old daughter has had to be escorted to classes. The Rodriguez  home has also been vandalized. I don’t care how much you dislike the guy – his family has nothing to do with it. Leave your critical comments and opinions online (hell, I love hearing ‘em) or voiced to your friends, but keep it from going to far, please.

I agree about the family thing, they should be left out of it. It isn’t what RR did but how he did it. It was borderline to illegal contacting recruits (before telling his players he was leaving) WVU and telling them to come tom Michigan. He shreaded player records and weight lifting records according to the newspapers. Jim in Louisville
