Feature Writers:
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer feature writer, please write a short editorial and submit it to Managing Editor @withheld.com. The editorial can be on the Game or MMO-Game-related topic of your choice and should be no more than 1500 words in length and be free of grammatical and spelling errors. Past editorials accepted.
Why should you volunteer as a WITHHELD.com moderator, feature writer or game guide writer?

If you know what MMO is, you are worth money. That’s just how it is.
Unfortunately, the assery on craigslist is not restricted to ads for writers. If you search the job ads period- you’ll find page-long lists of requirements and needed skills and experience, only to get to the bottom of the ad and find that the compensation is $8 to $10 dollars per hr. It seems most of the employers advertising have never heard that “you get what you pay for”.
They have heard it–they just don’t care. Notice how they say, “Pay depends on quality.” To me, this means they will use garbage, just pay less for it.
